Impressionists and Impressionism
A school of late 19th century French painters who pictured appearances by strokes of unmixed colors to give the impression of reflected light.
I have tried this impression painting that includes hobby colors, brushes, Palms & Fingers (of my family) mixed-up. It took 1 hr long on my workbook. However, it was the result of my imagination that made me do this. I was thinking about doing this for quite sometime now and we can do it only when we find time for our passion. Characteristics of Impressionist paintings include relatively small, thin, yet visible brush strokes, open composition, emphasis on the accurate depiction of light in its changing qualities (often accentuating the effects of the passage of time), ordinary subject matter, the inclusion of movement as a crucial element of human perception and experience, and unusual visual angles.

Vincent Van Gogh a Dutch Post-Impressionist artist and was a great impressionist and here is one of his painting.
